Anyone ever have this problem?
I just got my first Camaro. Its a 92 305(F). But here is my problem, when i turn the car on i get a high pitch squeal from my speakers. It has the Bose sound package. I know on some older cars the distributors can give off interference. Is that common with this car???? I thought it was the cheap head unit he had in the car but my $400 Pioneer does the same thing........
Also I took off what seemed to be stereo covers on the sides of the rear seats but there was no speakers behind them. Is there not suppose to be any speakers there with the Bose package? I also didnt see any wiring unless it fell down in the trim????

Does it do that when the engine isn't running, or only if it is? And is it all the speakers or some of them? I have a Bose system in my 92 Vette. Of my four speakers, one of them squeals annoyingly on and off, another one is dead. If your system is like mine, each speaker has it's own amp, and that's how they can react when the circuit board goes bad.
Thanks Guys. Now is there anything that i can wrap the coil and the distributor with to stop the interference? I though someone made specially insulated caps or something thats suppose to stop engine interference????
