Default '92 RS sputtering...

It's a manual V8TBI thatalmost has 180,000 on it and after driving for a while (until the engine gets hot) and I start to do stop and go... the car starts to jerk really hard when i push on the accelerator.I even hear severe sputtering sound coming from the muffler as the car seems not get gas and want to go. Im nottoo car savy but I have a feeling its either the fuel injectors (I had the fuel filter replaced a couple years ago). Anyone know what the issue migtht be?

Replace your fuel filter again. I do mine every other oil change. And if it has not been done in a while (based on how often you do a fuel filter, or do you even change the oil) do a tune up. I have had on bad spark plug wire on a V8 cause problems like yours.

change your fuel filter and pump it should run after that from what it sounds like. I had the same thing a week ago and replaced the filter and pump and complete tune up.

The fuel filter is above the rear end behind the left tire and its not bad to change. You need wrenches and dont loose the o-rings.

If it's going away when the engine is warm, sounds like you have a spark issue. Check your coil, wires & plugs.

It starts to do it after the car has already been running a while and after some stop and go.
