yeah, this one is a complete motor special edition, not just the block, dunno if you can get just the short block, didnt look

hell, i might as well ask.short block. long block, differences?? i know mine is a 350 long block. whatever that whole thing means

Short block would be no heads, intake... Long block would be more complete. And if you look under short blocks you willl see it there also. You add the heads and a cam.

cool, its expensive though, might as well go LSx and have similar powr and way more efficiency/reliability

oh, well that would make since then. for some reason i was thinking that it was a bit longer? stupid me..

but i mean, the logic behind the thought makes since though right? i like to think it does..

I need to state this when building and stroker motor spend then money on better than stock parts. I got my motor out friday night and started tearing apart my 383 that was in my car when i bought it. First thing i noticed low compression heads and no pushrod guide plates, stock cam shaft and 10:1 compression piston's. I'm very disapointed with the person who built this motor. So take the time and build it right the first time.

It sounds like the person used a lot of the stock stuff and in 88 GM started using rail or "guided" rockers so there is no need for a guide plate. Plus you did not get guides with pressed in studs.

oh trust me, it will be buildt correctly. Ill use the best parts i can afford.

hey mad mike it has 1973 chey low compression 76cc combustion chamber's that they put 2.02 1.60 in to (not worth the money) the block is a 78 or 79 350 two bolt main. there are alot of stock parts on this motor. what do you expect from someone else's screw up. i can't wait though my new motor will be going in this weekend.
