Default 350 motormounts

Changing a 2.8 to 350 on a 86 Camaro I need to know what motor mounts I need and placement of them in the frame holes.

As long as you get SBC motor mounts you should be fine. We kept our 305 motor mounts when we went to the 5.9L. The SBC motor mounts should work for whatever size SB you are putting in. Oh and BTW, what a huge change in engine. 2.8L to 5.7L, twice the displacement [sm=lildevil.gif] .

it also depends on which transmission you will be using, and with witch driveshaft. i went from a 2.8 with a 200r4 to a 350 with a 350 turbo, i had to change driveshafts, move the mounts to the foreward holes, and even still had to buy a separate torque arm because the 350 turbo trans has no mount for it on the tailshaft. i got the torque arm from jegs, called the 'jegster', it mounts right to the body, instead of to the trans which allows you to use whatever trans you want. good luck with your project.
