well, id like to get a more powerful cam in my 305 just tto make it more snappy untill i can get a 350. i have a flowmastter exhaust, open element air cleaner, and a performance chip. I heard the lt1 cam is a popular cam for this situation however i do have to pass emissions. First question is, in this car does it have a hydraulic flat tappet or hydraulic roller tappet. I was originally lead to beliaeve it was a flat tappet, but i just recenttly read most chevy motors after 1987 had a hydraulic roller tappet. This engine isnt worth puttting new heads in, im picking up a posi rear with 3.42s shortly. I woujld just like some more power with a nice rumble to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
