3.43 posi or 3.73 posi?

hey guys, just interested in your opinions on rear end gears, its a 10 bolt rear end, 383 stroker, tremec tko 600 trans

3.73 will be faster off the line, but lower top speed, and fuel efficiency.
3.43 will be viceversa. and it does just fine on mine. and the tko600 is a 5 speed no? id go 343

IMO, the 3.73 are to low. You sacrafice so much gas mileage with them, But if your not concerned with that, or top speed, Go with the 3.73 for sure. If i had a car where i wasnt concerned with the two at all, i would. Mine has the 3.08 in it now, im not to excited about that...

The only gear ratioavailable for 10-bolt is a 3:42 (not 3:43)and you can have a Limited slip carrier for any gear set ( 2 or 3 seriers carrier).

no one makes aftermarket gear sets bigger than a 3.42 for the 10 bolt?

Gear sets for the 3rd Gen 10-bolt: All can be used with the correct Limited Slip carrier.

Just my opinion for a street car 3:42 ratio would be the best choice.

yep i agree. i like the 3.42s for on the street...thats what i got and i like...if your interested, i get about 20-21 mpg all highway

my 95 lt1 had 3:73 gears an i got 20 mpg so idk i woul go with that
