Yes, but you are going to have a lot of senors and the ECM crying foul. Short story you need to know what you are doing to have it run correctly. My opinion.

If you do change to a carb, you would also want to put in a stand-alone distributor so you can run the engine independent of the ECM.

No, its still going to be upset with you, but as long as you everything correctly it will run correctly and you can still use the computer for the transmission, and other non-FI things. Just don't hack it up.

Don't worry about the ECM. just go aftermarket...intake, carb & dist. No more ECM needed.

I just switched my 91 rs from EFI to carb. other than getting an intake, carb, and distributor your going to have to drop the gas tank get rid of the electric fuel pump and replace it with about a foot of fuel line. You will also need to get a fuel pump that mounts onto the side of the block. (which I did because I hate in-tank fuel pumps) Then for the sake of then engine looking clean your gonna have to clip all of the extra wires. But if the EFI setup works good in your car I would not suggest switching it, the only reason I switched mine around was because most of the wiring harness was bad and I couldnt get power to the fuel pump.
