Im thinking about purchasing a 1985 camaro. The guy that has it says it needs a new fuel pump relay. Would anyone be able to tell me where this is located, so i can take one with me and put it on so i can hear it run? Its an 85 Z28 tpfi..... thanks

 

looks like it's on the fire wall, on a braket with several relays. should be marked with pn # 14078902

Past that I can't help you, my pictures back then are really bad.

 

I have the same exact car with the same motor and the guy told me the same thing but that's not what is was but the fuel pump relay is on the firewall on the left(drivers) side at the top, or at least it is on my car.

 

don't always go with the seller is saying, question him on how long the car has been stopped, what the condition was at the time of it being parked.

there might be something else involved the fuel system
