yeah i didnt wanna go too overboard, but the 305s arent that fast of an engine. i had one and it was pretty slow. droping in a 383 soon though. take my advise and get a different motor if you want more power.

high 13s seems a little hopeful.what were those things from the factory? high 14s on a good day... maybe? i know that the ford 302 was a high 14 car in the lighter foxbody, and that it was more powerful than the 305. you do have a new cam in there but its not big.

You got a 15 second car.Until you run it and really find out what you have, all you have are guesses and that is a 15 sec car.

no its gotta be faster then 15 im thinkin mid to low 14's. with that cam and the 3.42 rear its a peppy car. the lt1 cam is MUCH bigger then the lo3 cam. and the 3.42s are much faster then the stock 2.73s

Keep a "thinkin"....No way it is a mid 14 car you have nothing but a peppy slow car.

the 305 tbi doesnt respond to a cam in the same way an lt1 or ls1 does. and the lt1 cam may be much bigger, but its still not that big, and running in a smaller cube motor with inferior head design. Im still going with high 14s to be nice
