Default Want 70-73 Front & Rear Look

I am new and curious . . .

If I find a 74-81, can I get a 70-73 Nose and Rear to replace the excisting?

Read back 5 pages and didn't see anything about it.

as 1969 SS said the nose is pretty much bolt on but if you really want an early 2nd gen look you'll have to do somethin about the wrap around rear glass. I would imagine the rear lights will require some cutting and welding. I would love to see a build on this though so if you give it a go make sure to document it for me. Look at national parts depot as they might have the metal you need for the rear.

One of the most commonly asked questions here, and it's ben covered many times. The front is easy, but the tail panel and rear window are lots of work. Some have done just the front; some have done front and rear; but few have done the rear window swap also.
Here's a link to the best one here, done by Junkman:

Yeah,to do the rear properly would be alot of work. The window, roof, tail panel, tail lights, quarter panels, even the trunk floor and trunk floor drop offs, are all different. It would take alot of time, fab work, welding, cutting, money, etc. to get the rear to look right and look good.

Just buy a 70-73, it's easier.

Holy five and a half year old thread revival Batman!
I know it may be hard to see for some, but let's try to pay attention to the post dates to make sure you're not digging up a dinosaur.

No harm, but it's not the forum that is moving slowly.
