This is how I got my camaro wont work with my grille but does this look like an rs hood release handle I have a standard front end. Im just gonna buy the longer one and make it work with my new grille I bought but just wondering if this an rs or standard hood latch?

 

I would suggest you look up the part on Classic industries and compare what you have to the pictures. From memory that is the none RS hood latch. The RS latch went over the top of the grill. That seems extended down too low. I would think the grill would block it. But my memory is not what it use to be and I have not owned a early 2nd gen in 30+ years.
