Having trouble finding the right alternator belt
 

I am pretty sure my car had a/c and someone took it out and I am having trouble finding the right belt and alternator bracket my alternator makes belt a little crooked so it chews up belts I am looking for a chrome alternator bracket the top bracket and a belt for my car the chrome bra ket that was on my car before won't work with my intake

Are you using the long or short water pump.

Summit sells a universal alternator bracket and mount to fit SBC engines and it can be mounted on either side. The belt isn't really an issue, as all you need is a length measurement. I usually use an old belt as a test sample and cut it. Then I wrap it around the pulleys with the alternater in it's shortest position and if it overlaps I cut the excess off. If it's short I measure the distance and write that down. Then I take the belt to the parts store and have them grab me one that's the same length, regardless of what it fits.
I've had so many hotrods that have special belt needs that I rarely am able to just walk in and order by make and year.
