Default '75 corvette STOCK 350 with BDS 6-71 blower

Hey guys, I'm usually up in the 4th gen section, but maybe you can help me out. My father is looking at a 1941 ****** coupe, with a STOCK 1975 vette 350, with a BDS 6-71 blower on it. Paired with a TH350 transmission. its revving pretty high on the highway, so we want to switch up the tranny for a 4 speed auto. does anyone know of any transmissions that would bolt right on there? AND if that 350 is really worth pulling apart and building it up for a blower, or switching it up for something bigger and better. thanks

up to the lt1. they use the 4l80 in the truck with a sbc (not ls style) in later years so i think thats why a 4 and 6 sp are around. it is a bit bigger than the th350-400-700r4. you can get a 700r4/4l60 that can handle some major hp. that would avoid the computer hassle.
