Just finished putting the 406 in the 69 camaro. Went to start it and nothing. I'm getting no spark at the distributor. I currently have the 5200 series that was hooked up to the old engine still in the engine bay hooked up. I just want to start it to see whats up. I have the 6al. new blaster 2 coil, and the pro billet distributor on the 406. I'm missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess that's OK about putting this question here, it's just as easy to put a 406 in a 2nd gen!![Wink](https://camaroforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I have to ask you the obvious, are you sure your distributor isn't installed 180 degrees off? Rotor wants to be pointing to #1 cylinder as it nears TDC on the Compression Stroke.
