Default 267 v8

now, before anyone tells me it's like polishing a terd, i know it is. but, for now, let's assume the 350 i have on a stand is being built, but not for a while.

my question is, 4 barrel intake and carb on a 267, easy? i have been out of v8's for so long, and never had a 267. i was told that with a set of headers, a 4 barrel intake and carb, and i will see huge improvements, not blindingly fast, but not what i am looking for really either. i would like to keep the car somewhat original, but would like to get up to speed faster when i put my foot down.

the car is a 1981 berlinetta, 267 v8 auto. thanx for any input and advice.

Not likely a "huge" improvement, maybe a little though if you use a good intake and don't put too big a carb on it.
Small engine, low compression, small valves, broomstick cam....you can only push so much air and fuel through that thing before it's just a waste.
