2400 stall converter help
sorry if i'm off a little, first time messing with transmission conversions and stuff so here we go
I'm getting the t56 magnum 6 speed conversion from hurst conversions and a mutha thumpr cam from comp cams also a moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears and looking for a 2400+ stall speed converter that will go along with it anyone know of a place i can get one for cheap? and will this setup work? the gears on the trans are as follows: 1st 2.97 2nd 2.10 3rd 1.46 4th 1.00 5th .74 6th .50 |
t56 is a manual transmission and does not have a torque converter. if your looking for a auto trans for it have a look at these places.

so whats in the car now for a transmission? if its a manual trans i would say stay with a manual trans. as far as cam you dont use a converter with a maual trans so dont worry about a stall, dont need it and can use any cam you want so long as the motor is built to handle it.

So if the cam i want says it needs a 2400 stall it wont need it for the man trans? sorry for the questions but im new to trannies |
th400 is an auto trans, its a 3 speed auto, would be best to stay with an auto. check out what tci has and do a bunch of reading. i spent three days reading on here when i first started, learning about my car and its systems.
