Where to get '79 Camaro Reverse Lockout Linkage
Hello!
I need some help, I bought a 1979 Camaro Z28 without working reverse lights. They are mandatory in my country :/ I saw that I am missing the reverse lockout linkage running from the reverse gear linkage to the steering column. I miss both arms and the metal brackets, so everything from the picture below. I checked my transmission and the side cover has the number 3884685, so I guess I have a old Muncie transmission with a Hurst Shifter from a '69 Camaro swapped in??
Can I buy a linkage for another model year of the Camaro that fits (69,70,...?) or does the 79 linkage would fit my old transmission? Is there maybe a alternative to the linkage like the Hurst backup light switch that is cheaper?
Thank you all very much for your help!
