Muncie 220 4-speed
My father and i are looking for a muncie 220 4-speed and we would like to buy one pretty cheap. Anybody know where we could get one at?

You must mean an M20?
That or an M21 or M22. Good luck finding one for cheap, they are pricey these days in good condition even well used. Looky here....http://www.riversidegear.com/categor...oduct-794.html |
^ That's not such a bad price for a rebuilt unit.

there is a guy in WI that rebuilds them and he is always at the jefferson swap meets
his buis. is Crash Enterprizes He built the m20 in my 68 you wont find a nice built reliable one for under 800 probably closer to 1000 |
I'll whisper this so not everybody hears.....if you have more of a plain-jane engine (not killer h.p.), then you could use a Saginaw 4 speed. They came with different gear ratios, and are dirt cheap compared to the Muncie. If you're married to the Muncie, keep in mind that the M22 (Rockcrusher) has straighter cut gears, and because of that it can have more of a whine to it.
