Default Installing coil springs

I was wondering if anybody could give me some insight on how to do this. I have removed both upper and lower control arms on both sides since I replaced the bushings. I was wondering what’s the safest way to reinstall the coil springs. I have no motor or transmission so I’m worried the car will fall off the jack stands when I jack up the lower control arm anybody done this? Without getting a spring compresser?

Jack rear and car up as high as possible, place stands under rear subframe, unbolt shocks, let the jack and rear down, slip in the springs, jack back up and bolt shocks back on, take stands out and drop her.
