Air Ride brackets from Ride Tech, wich size ???

Hy all,

i want to install the same Brackets like Ride Tech is offering:

CoolRide :: 1970-1981 Chevy Camaro, Firebird - CoolRide Front System - RideTech.com - Suspension Specialist - Online Store

To safe the cost of shipment to Germany, i will fabricate the brackets myself..
Therefore i just need to know the height of the upper brackets..i hope anybody is knowing that..

Thanks a lot
Achim

A friend of mine did the air bag conversion on the front of his '69 Firebird. He simply cut the spring pockets out of the lower control arm, and welded in flat plates in the place of the pocket. Then drilled a hole to bolt up the bag to the lower arm. Once you have the bags you'll see what they need and can fabricate the mounts easily if you have a welder, torch or plasma cutter, and the skills to do it.
You may also find the spring pocket in the frame is tight on the bag and may have some interference. If it does then the spring pocket will need to be opened up also so it wont wear the bag out.
