New Build Thread?
 

Does this forum need another build thread? I'm redoing my 76. It is apart but if people are interested can post pics and updates. Let me know!!

We all had ours in this section but a while back they all got moved to the new projects section. There are only a handful of projects there. But I like to see others that I wouldn't normally see because i don't really move around the forum.

Yeah, the Project section seems to be where they are now. I preferred the old setup with projects in their respective forums. I still forget to look in the project section, and it seems the mods are leaving some projects in 2nd gen. Wish they'd move them ALL back to their former forums personally.

It seems like this is the place to try and post it. I,m goin for it

I guess I need a few more post to put pics.

I start with some history.
May of 2010. I traded a harley worth about 4000. for the 1976 camaro and a car trailer. ( I recently crashed my computer and lost old pics)
The car came with new quarters,floors and rockers installed. It was solid and primed.
She has a 350 stock with a weind manifold and a turbo 350.

she had bad tires but ran ok.
I spent a couple months,bock sanding and painting, Detailed the engine compartment. Installed new carpet and racing bucket seats.Put in a stereo, after market guages, Tach,and a fire exting. The interior was looking good.
I shaved off the door handle and fabbed custom aluminium interior door panels.

I installed a 10 bolt posi,373 and neww brakes all around. I powder coated the wheels black and new bfg ta's. I blacked out all chrome or polished trim ,the grill and the bumpers. She was looking pretty sharp!
Did I mention I painted her in a tent in the back yard? ( I printed a book on the progress as I did all this so I will be able to post some pics of pics.
