I agree, leave the car pretty much alone if you can. A car like that, with a little "character" can be worth more than one that's been restored.

And, "ball busting"....where? I'll get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I ever do.
BTW, it's gonna be the last thing I ever do!! lol

I agree with the don't touch it guys! I would even be careful about not over cleaning it. Keep it as it is, with minor cleaning, and no touchup to paint or even rubbing out the paint.

Basicly build an underground safe big enough for the car. Make sure it's climate controlled. Then seal it up and never go in there again.

Did you ever see that old 2007 episode of American Hotrod with Boyd Coddington where they went to see the unveiling of a '57 Plymouth that was put in a vault new in '57? When they opened the vault they found the car submerged in water that had leaked inside! Total loss.
