My 1978 Camaro progress
hey guys
i finally get to start my camaro progress thread
so far i ordered new floor pans, new carpet and im putting jegs racing seats in it and there are no back seats in it (yay!! ppl cant bum rides off me when im drivin it)
i plan on getting either a cowl hood or an ss hood (which do you think looks better?) i can get either one for 25 bucks off my brothers cousins dad
im getting 4 nos bottle subwoofers and 2 alpine or kenwood amplifiers
i want to get 15 inch tourque thrust II's on it or maybe some tourque thrust d's
anyone recommend any good tires for drag racing? i want to get the best i can get
i plan on gettin my windows tinted as dark as the state allows me
i have an extra 350 sitting in a garage to put in it and i plan on upgrading it to a 383 stroker
here is going to be the color scheme for my car
if you guys have anything you recommend getting done to my car jus post it

RE: My 1978 Camaro progress
lots of potential in this one. just be careful not to bite off too much at a time, you can lose your drive before it hits asphalt again, then you wind up with a lawn ornament, i've had several. And good luck with those floorpans, they're more of a chore than you'd expect! Took me a week of nights after work to get mine in, more cutting and welding than I expected, and some custom metal work in front of what the replacement floorpans cover...

x2 just take it a little at a time.start small then go larger as u progress, thats what im doing might take me a little while but wont get burned out with it,with mine i have a goal by spring its just to have front clip like new, then i can drive it all summer, then start another project next winter,or maybe some small things while im driving it.
