Me either, I even scanned trough your thread and didn't see anything like that.

Automatics are always faster in the 1/4 than any stick, a long as they're in good condition and don't slip. No way anyone could shift a stick and not lose some tiny bit of time. Don't know much about your tire choice, but some sort of street legal drag radial would alway do better in the 1/4 than a strictly street tire. Of course you could just buy some slicks and spare wheels to put on at the drags; that's what I did on my Camaro.

I think a stick would be a blast on the street, but I'm more inclined to just do automatic transmissions, like Val said, you put a shift kit in one and you can still manual shift it.
