I am almost done with my restoration of my 72 camaro. I had some questions i wanted to ask so here i go.

1) When getting new brake lines do i buy the kit for my camaro or get the tubing and ect... to shape the lines my self?

2) what are some of the sites you guys trust to order parts off?

Welcome to the forum!
I've done it both ways, and I would definitely go with a set of pre-bent brake lines if possible. The kits have all the right fittings and are way cleaner than what I can do with my bender. A Classic Tube kit from Summit goes for about $175 for everything, and will save you a lot of time and trips to the parts house, plus look great.

I have to vote for inline tube. I got mine prebent from stainless for 180 shipped. They fit and look exactly like the stock ones, except they will never rust.

That's a better price than Classic. Their's aren't stainless for the same money.

Here's a link. $175 plus shipping for stainless. Inline tube - Online Catalog - Chevrolet

There almost local to me, I got mine in like three days.

I bought mine at Home Depot in the A/C heating section. It comes in 15 sq. ft. rolls that are seelf adhesive and heavy foil backed. Porbably need two rolls to do the floors in a Camaro. It was $16 a roll, which is way cheaper than anything else I've looked at.
It's a gray foam insulation on the foil. Make sure you don't get the cheaper stuff in the building/roofing section! That stuff has a tar based insulation and the smell will never leave the interior!

wow that is really cheap.all have to look into it.

I have read that some people have no issues with Peel and Seal. Some guys swear no smell others say it reeks. At $13 for a 12.5sqft roll it may be worth trying. I personally bought a 100 sq ft box of dynamat. I don't know why, I guess its because it was what we used for stereo's back in the day. I was hooked when I tried like hell to make a bell ring that had a 1" sq piece on it. I might try Lizard skin on the hard to reach area's.
