Im gonna get off the camaro topic for a second and talk 4x4 as i have a couple questions.
How come you went with a 60 on a big truck like that with a huge motor rather then like 2.5 ton Rockwells?
What rubber are you gonna run?
What year and make is the body?

Well that is a pretty good question.
But I have the best answer!
Rockwells are very very heavy for 1 and they only have 6.71 gears 2 and 3 the pinion is top loader which requires some issues with clearance in some cases.
I do mostly Mud which really reguires tired speed ??? How do you get tire speed? Tall gers right? Yes so I run 44 boggers with a 4.56 gear. which for most peolpe would run a 5.13 or 5.88 with A44 Tire BUT that is the purpose running a motor so big! The 582 comes in about 2500 and pulls all the way to 7000 with a 2000 stall. To be honest with you it is really insane in a truck. But I love it! And the Dana 60 is upgraded with alloy axles and ctm ujoints. that is about $1800 in upgrdes. my weak link is the locking hubs.

sorry I missed the body.
It was a 95 extra cab chevy mounted to an 87 1ton frame. When i tore it down to 4link it I put a newer 98 full crew cab.
And also on the 1ton stuff in case you are not familar with 14bolt rears? They in stock form are alomost indestructable! I have never ever broke one!
