nice car would be sweet with a big block,or very large cubic inch smallblock.both can make awesome power.

May sell it. I need to get a manual master cylinder for disc/drum brakes, Mp has it. I don't know if it came with man. brakes but I enjoy the idea of using any cam I want and not worrying about some vacuum robbing line for assistance. :) Even though I am now planning this small block with a small cam. It has some old 292+ grind in it right now. Yep its all sceduled for a rebuild. Its .030 over right now. Gonna go .040 over I guess. 383? I heard 383's are hard on cylinder bores in stock blocks ovaling them out necessitating yet another rebuild and do 400's have this problem? even with only around 400 hp? I might get a 400 shortblock and tune it for low end. Also I am planning efi conversion ala carb replacement syle.

i been building 400s for years never had a problem with them ovaling the cylinders,my current engine is a 436 sbc making over 600 hp,some people claim they have overheating problems but i never have,i always used a big aluminum radiator and a good mechanical water pump in aluminum,like weind or edelbrock.they can make some awesome low end torque.ran it with a holley stealth ram for a year,this is the first time this engine will be ran with a carb.but sure loved the way the fuel injection idled and had great manners for a race engine.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I am gonna try to get some better pictures soon. I think I will get a 400 shortblock, some small AFR heads, small roller cam similar to a XFI 264, and an EFI unit to top the ported EPS intake. For me that is alot of mula to spend on parts. I still need things like brakelights, turn signals, all the wiring, and rear seat bottoms. going to use race seats to replace my stock front buckets. Going to use a pro stick on the TH2004R trans. Need a TH400 crossmember. Also need a man. master cylinder for disc/drum combo. Need a high performance manual steering box. Want to use some aftermarket or ws6 anti-'body-roll'-bars lol... I like the antiroll bars to have very high rates and the rest of the suspension soft or stock except bushings and control arms. Using an x brace frame conn. ,chromed main hoop, and rear shock mount brace. May change rear to coil over and track link like my 3rd gen was...some nice handling there. Wanting this to be a drivers car for driving not necessarily fast, just doing it well. And it will have oomph when needed. Ideas? Seems I have inadvertantly revealed my secret formula I have been chemicaly mastering for all my life. A few details left out .. hee hee. :icon_dance-twist:
