Default 1974 project pt 2











I do have video of car running but this site does not accept mp4 video these are all photos I have for now I am hoping to bring car back to life a lot of parts are not original so originality is not my goal I want a fun weekend car with decent power what are recommendations for everything I know a bit about cars I am planning on building the car for my entire life ao budget will keep expanding as time goes on what does that vin mean?

Are you sure you want that car to be a life long project? You could head down south or out south west and find a solid roller body that would cost way less to get in the safe to drive zone. That sure looks like a parts car to me. Of course there are not enough pictures to be sure.

I am normally the guy that says metal work is easy you can do it. I have been doing it since 2006. I can Gas weld Mig and arc, I even have a plasma cutter, I can say based on that one picture that that car is beyond my skill level to fix. I don't mind patching a frame but right next to the leaf spring? That is going to see all the engine torque and IMO should be left for a certified welder.
