Only one wire is coming from the steering colum and the cap has 2 wire attachments, please help needed. I already put 1 wire on the mass of the colum and the other on the wire coming out of the colum but still nothing

 

Can you take a picture? Is the cap the Horn switch. That switch should have power coming from the fuse box to the switch and one wire leaving the switch. When you push the horn switch if should allow power to flow through it to the horn relay.
