Is it worth buying
I am looking into buying this project. New to the Camaro scene. Justed wondering if you guys think it worth it.

sorry forgot to post the price. The guy is asking 2950 obo. He claims it has minor rust on the roof and trunk area. It is 4 hours away so I just want to make sure it's a fair price even if I get it a couple 100 under the asking price. I'm waiting on more pics of the interior to check the rust. I will be making the trip regardless due to taking my wife to training. |
hard to say without more info, rollers are going for more now a days than complete cars used to sell for back in my day, hard to believe what people are willing to pay. If you have the time, money, patience and skill to bring it back to life then go for it, if not then look for something already done. Good luck and remember build it for you, it's your car and have fun.

The price seem reasonable. But is it a project you are up for? If you know how to do the work then you probably know there could be a lot of work under the windshield/rear window molding, rear frame rails.
Full OEM quarters cost a lot more then the $99 quarter skins that are out there so keep that in mind while looking at value. |
Here are pics of the interior I got. I would not be doing the body work myself and know it would costly to have someone else do it for me. What are the are some of the other common areas to look for rust or any other issues to be on the lookout for?
