Default wiring woes

I was wondering if any one could direct me to a wiring diagram for the lamp circuts for 1970 model. I have it almost back together and when I hook up the batt. the parking lamps come on. Switch off. When I do turn on the light switch I get no headlights.

u have power bleeding in from a improper conection somewhere huh. if u are keeping the car i recomend picking up a dealer shop manual for your yr. very handy and can save u money in the long run. do a search on the net for your car and problem. just did one and came up with this.

got mine from ebay. they only make them for so long so a used one is probly all ull find. they are called a service manual. if u cant find one then use a aftermarket one. chiltons etc.. the bummer with them is they cover so many years u dont get all the info on your yr. just did a goggle on it so here is the first one on the search. 12 bucks not bad.
