have this 72 rally sport. one owner till i lucked into it. all original - survivor, yep original paint etc. no joke, belonged to a little ole lady bought new in Louisiana, then moved to GA. garage kept, drove it on sunday (im not kidding). when she got put in nursing home i traded a corvette to it with her family member. It had an leaky valve cover for probably 40 years. took forever to clean under the hood. it has original rally wheels, and spare has one too and has never been on the ground. in perfect shape with wide O and numbers printed on tread. jack never been out that i could tell. all original other than drivers seat has a new skin. it has some paint issues and the VT looks a little dry, but i did not want to paint it. usual lacquer things. not perfect but you can tell from the pics why im not painting a survivor. I do have a gal of the original paint in case i change my mind. ..... what i'm looking for because i got it after trading a couple of time, what the value is. I turned down 20K 2 times. im thinking more of 25K. it seems that if i make it perfect by painting etc., it would look great, but really be worth about the same or less, so i decided not to touch it. all the service, valve guide seals, larger ports in 2bbl carb, cleaning motor, ac serviced with new comp and poa valve (date coded). i have several pics and some video but don't know how to load the video's on here. so just pics for now. i think it just turned over 90K miles. PS PB am/fm radio AC rear defog, kinda of high option car. ive serviced all items belts hoses trans filter, brakes, ps hoses, (hoses not date coded, can't find or afford that) Painted radiator pan over shroud and replaced stickers due to paint pealing off from oil. you could drive it to flordia today, just need gas. new bfg tires. i'll post some pics so you can see, and feedback welcomed. tks

I would think by end of spring offers should get up to the range your looking for. if nothing else inflation will get you there.

 

Beautiful looking ride, had a friend with a 72 split bumper (I think) had many many fun nights cruising SoCal and the beach scene in the early 90's.

When you decide to sell her keep me in mind as I may have room for one more by summer.
