Default whats its worth? 1971 splitbumper

there is a 1971 camaro split bumper and its not in that good conition. it has no interior peiceses beside the dash and the cash cluster. it has no seats or carpet either. the body isnt in that good of condition either. it has alot of dents not mayjor ones just little queter size ones and they are like as deep as a pennyy. it doesnt have and paint either it is rusting, and is like 3 different colors but not good paint like it is sanded down but not to bare metal. it has all wheels not flat and all the glass. no engine or tranny.

what do you think it is worth (or what would you offer him)?

Hey, I found this website some time ago. You could probably start from here and base your asking price on what is suggested. I tried doing it for you but the server is down right now.

http://www.manheimgold.com/

just click on the 'price guide' button and then follow the steps indicated. You can also look for another website similar to it. I have used this one in the past and it is pretty realistic. It also has a place for you to choose the condition the car is in. I looked up my '72 and typed in "normal condition" or something like that and it displayed about $4,000.

What I would offer.... I would start at maybe $2,000 at most. But then again, I bought my car a while back and prices have changed. Also, my car's no split bumper or anything. There are some people that want so much money for their crappy cars.

Good luck with this and keep us updated.

thanks i stop by and this guy isnt like that he want $700 for a 1972 slpit bumper(i thought it was 71) and it just need paint tranny engine hood and passenger fender. cause when i first stoped by he wasnt there so i didnt know that he had all the interior pices inside and he only wants $700 for it but i dont have enough right now cause im fixing up my 83 camaro. but it would be a good investment because i seen one that is only the shell no wheels engine glass or anything go for $3000.

Hey, it sounds like a good deal. I can tell you from my limited experience with my '72 that working on it is fun and the parts aren't really that expensive. Good luck with your projects.
