alright i did a little searching and it is the power acc circuit breaker.

found a picture of the fuse box here, have not found one but just did a quick search. i would think the local autozone or parts place should be able to find one. could call a dealer and see if they have a part # for it.

says acc in the pic. its the only 30 amp breaker there. check the site i posted its #9 on the list under the pic.

The fuse layout on the block shown in the link is all different, it's for a 1981. But your breaker is still for what power accessories you have. The slot I mentioned would be where another breaker goes, for accessories your car evidently doesn't have. What power accessories does your car have?

No need to bow out, you did crack the code first for the circuit breaker!
That's more than I was able to find, with details.
I also have an assembly manual for a 79 Vette, and even that wasn't very detailed.
I do remember messing with that same breaker on the Vette (had pwr window issues), but that was a few years ago.
