Default Camaro floor pans

has anybody found new replacements for the section of floor under the rear seats for a 1979 camaro?

Several places have them. They're pretty easy to find. Check NPD, as they are listed there for $65 ea.

Thanks for the info but all I can find them for from that mag, is for 60's models and I have a 1979.

You didn't look close enough! Bottom of page 134 is for 75-81 Camaros.

Nobody sells them, be sure to call in wherever you are buying them from to verify for sure that is what you are getting. The all start where the foot would go in front of the rear seat tub. I got mine from a guy on NastyZ28 for $10 about a month ago. The only place you are going to get one is from a donor car. That or just make one, cut it out, piece some steel in there, and weld the seat tabs back in.

The closest thing I found was part number 12911 transition pan and it is for a 70-73.

Find a donor car. Join up at NastyZ28 and ask for one in the swap meet section of the forum. People are cutting cars up all the time.

What part of the country are you located? There's a couple people around here cutting up Camaros that will have those parts.
