Default V-8 Engine mount question

Hi everyone, I have an '81 that I need to procure an engine/trans for. I have a question about the v8 engine mounts that bolt to the block. Are these mounts specific to 2nd gen Camaro's or can they be found on other GM f-bodies, or even other models altogether?
My youngest son and I are building this for his first ride and I just finished an '85 Jeep CJ-7 ground up for my oldest son. Funny thing...those leftover Jeep parts don't fit on this camaro worth a darn!!
Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

They fit many other Chevy models, but not sure what years and models interchange. They are pretty darn cheap for new ones though. Block side bolt pattern is the same for all 1st gen. smallblock and big block engines. It's the rest of the mount that changes for different years and makes.
Just tell them the year and model at the parts store. I bet they end up around $10 ea.

Pick-up truck engine side mounts won't fit. Just barely, ask me how I know. My 78 still has a paint chip in the fender from the pry bar slipping. The paint was a month old at the time.
