If anyone can help...
I need colors for some underside components so I get it factory orginal correct for a 74 rs.

1.Driveshaft
2. Rear end assembly: including axles, differential
3. Gas tank straps
(I assume the new gas tank stays unfinished) correct if wrong

Hopefully someone can help. Include other items if they are known to you under there. And if some (like i think the driveshaft is) left unfinished....any suggestions on how to coat it? clear or grey maybe? to keep from rusting

Really nobody? I want to make sure i do this correct. Everything is coming home from the blaster today.

 

I bought my 1971 when it was two years old. I can tell you a few things, but not everything.
First off none of the attachment pieces (bolts, nuts, etc.) are painted. The rearend housing was semi-gloss black, as was the driveline. The gas tank, and tank straps were unfinished, but mine was undercoated. Not sure if that was factory, or a dealer extra. Backing plates were also painted outside, but not inside. Drums were unpainted.
That's about all I can say for sure from memory.
