Im looking for a hood that goes to a 78-81 camaro for my 71 camaro I have been told they are interchangeable. The hood styles that really caught my eye are these



I have been scouring google for about a month with no luck checked local junkyards etc. and no one will offer to have any of their hoods truck shipped
I am planning to restore this car with OEM Camaro parts of various years with as few modifications as possible.
If anyone has any suggestions on where to find a hood like this please let me know.

I offered the guy who was selling the one on top 175 (his asking price) not including shipping. I am located in wise, Virginia. whats the condition of the hood?
And whats your location anywheres withing the range of about an 7 hour trip from here is as far as Im willing to go otherwise is shipping an option ?
I peeked at your info and it said Dayton, Ohio Google maps estimates a 6 hour trip looks like its in my range.

 

yah man..Im in it good dude...the girl Im talking to, her dad is a CAMARO FANATIC!!!...hes got a bunch of 9 Z parts hes giving me to bolt on my 81 to make it look like a Z...Im seeing her tomorrow..I'll ask him and see if hes got one..I'll make sure to take pics of it and ask what he wants for it...I'll play middle man so you'd basically jus be buying it off him...i'll jus be gettin in his good graces by helping him clean out the shop for him...lol..no fee here...I'll get back to yah bud

i know a guy that's got 2 like the 2nd one pictured, using one, the other is either still in the back yard or scrapped, if he's still got it i could get it next to nothing but it's in Alabama, long ways for a road trip...
