My transmission is slipping in third gear. I have a turbo 350 in my garage, but I don't know what it came from exactly. The guy I got it from said it was from an old camper from the 70s. The transmission on my 1980 camaro is actually from a 78 caprice classic (the guy I bought the camaro from threw away the six cylinder and the transmission and put in the 305 v8 from a caprice). Should the turbo 350 fit fine? I know that the tail shaft and bell housing might not fit exactly, can those be removed from the caprice trany and attach them to the turbo 350 and put it in the car?
