Doing a compression test is useless at this point. As we said, it takes times and miles to break an engine in! Change it back to regular oil, and get the miles on it in varying speeds. Those rings wont be fully seated, so a compression test wont prove anything.

There isnt much consensus on this and I have read articles on both sides and both sides have good points. Hopefully you are fine, but I do not think the dyno had anything to do with it.
If you're building an engine for racing, they often dyno them to see what they've built. Race engine builders aren't building engines for longevity, and almost every race engine will have lots of blowby if it was run long enough. Most don't reach the mileage we would consider broken in before they get rebuilt.
I've got friends who say they break an engine in "like I'm planning to run it". So their theory is if you're going to run it hard, then break it in the same way. I've never seen one of them broken in that way that wasn't an oil burner early in life.

ok i guess i will drain the synthetic oil and switch back to conventional before i drive the car again. i can save the synthetic that i will drain because it only has 20 miles on it right? would hate to waste $75 in oil. Hope the 20 miles i drove with the synthetic wont cause issues. yeah i will do a compression test later on i meant

As long as you drain the new (20 mile) oil into a clean container, you can reuse it. When re-bottling the oil, I would use a paint strainer in a funnel to make sure you don't get any dirt particles. You've already gone through the critical initial break-in, using conventional oil. Now you just need to drive the car to continue letting the rings seat in. Don't beat on the engine, but don't baby it either.
