Default Tires for 15x4" welds

So I am trying for that "pizza cutters" look in the front so I just got some 15x4" welds and I am not sure which tire size to go with. I've heard P155/80R15's are good but does anyone have a tried and true size? Thanks

If your looking for the true pizza cutter look, why not put a pair of moroso or hoosier front runners on those wheels. With that look, your not going to be turning corners at high speeds so they will last. We have had hoosier's on our car for 4 years now and the only reason we changed one was we got a flat at the track. Just a thought.

One big reason is price. The Moroso and Hoosier are great frontrunners, but more than twice as much money as a decent 155/80/15 or 165/75/15. I've used both of these sizes on skinny 3.5"-4" rims and usually can buy them mounted and balanced for about $60-$65 each.
I'm running 165R15 radials on my gasser now, and I like the extra rubber they have. Still plenty skinny, but a bit more on the road. They're 25" tall. I've got a spare pair of 155's that I bought used (nearly new) from a friend for $40 for the pair, and they're going on if I ever wear this pair out.

If you have some time and can wait a couple weeks i will tell you what i had on my Camaro when i first got it. I could have sworn they were 135s but maybe they were 155s.

If your looking for any advice, when i had them on the front of my car, it would howl going around overpasses at the recommended speed limit. I HATED them, but they did look pretty bad a$$
