Default Tailight conversion

My new LED tailights came in today so I did that project after work! My plan was to make all 4 tailights work off the headlights and park lights, and then have both lights on each side flash/brake. I've got a license plate backup light, so I eliminated that on the inside lights.
I bought LED's for a 1958 Chev truck and then opened up the buckets and siliconed them into the back of the lenses. They had pigtails on them and a bayonet base to match the factory sockets, so I had to disconnect the backup sockets and wire in a new socket to the inside light on each side. Took a few hours to remove, glue, wire it all, but it's a major improvement in light level and I like the look of having all 4 lights. It's just different enough that only a Camaro fan would notice the change from 2 to 4 lights.
Here's just the tailights:

Those are sweet. I plan to do this to mine. I wish I had the round lights like you I would just copy yours. Now can you get them to blink in sequence? Inside first then both? As soon as I get back to school I'm gonna work this out with my electronics teacher. Again nice.

Looks Great!!!

I converted mine over to 4 tail/brake lights years ago, then later I installed some 4" round led lights into them and love the look. They are bright!!!

That's the same way mine blink. Thought about sequencing like 77nomad said, but wanted more flash to get people's attention. Sequencing is pretty easy with a relay to activate the second light and power to the inside light.
I love the fact that they are super bright, even in the daylight!

Really no ending time. They start around 4:30 or 5:00 and go strong until around 8:00 PM, but if it's really nice there's a good crowd until 10:00 PM.
