Default T-tops on a Berlinetta?

Were t-tops ever a factory option for Berlinetta variants?

Thanks.

i don't think so, but you know what? the other day i saw a picture of a 1979 z28 convertible!!! yes thats right, i never heard about it and as far as i know there was not convertible from 1978 to 81 so i'm pretty sure it was costume made, i mean the car was nice but yeah not factory (as far as i know) so maybe it was costume made afterwards.

Yeah, I understood you fine, thanks.

Yeah, I've seen some z28 convertibles too.

So, you don't think Berlinetta's had factory t-tops? Any source of info? Thanks!

i'm not an expert by far about the subject (or any) i'm pretty new to camaros too, i just haven't seen any of heard of it untill now.

a good deal of the information i know about my car i got it from this website (good info source by the way).

http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro79.php

The only thing is that i have some factory options not listed but so far i haven't found anything significant. (just like a front licese plate option or small things like that)

But also you didn't say what year? i believe Berlinetta was produced several years.

I have one , a 1979 Berlinetta t top car , there was only like 81 made and only 11 did not come with the rear spoiler and I have one of the 11 cars . I have the cover car for 1979 but with t tops ..that blue car with hurricane wheels that you see on the manual for 1979.

That was a common option for all Camaros in 79-81; 33,584 made in 1979, 24,816 in 1980, and 30,445 in 1981. The rear spoiler was standard on Z28 and Rally Sport models, but could be deleted, 81 chose to do so in '79,my book doesn't show that delete option for the 80 and 81 models.

T-Tops were availed on most 1979-81 Camaros .The factory or the Hurst T-tops The convertible was a custom aftermarket modification done back in Michigan .Check Wikipedia for more information.

Berlinetta is what the question was and it was very rare in 1979 for a Berlinetta to have t tops and extremely rare to not have the spoiler and have t tops from the factory ! That means it is just a tad bit different in value like by alot lot ..and yes I know what they made , and a bunch of them too but the rarest of camaros in 79 is just that a Berlinetta with t tops and no spoiler.
