Is it possible the car was built outside of the US in a plant overseas? I found on the CRG site that a similar system was used in the late sixties on cars that were built overseas. If GM still used the same system in 72, then the letter "B" of your VIN would have stood for the 1972 model year of the car and "C" would have been the assembly plant. I couldn't find any information to corroborate this, so that is purely a guess at this point. Here's a link to the CRG site talking about this topic pertaining to the 67- 69 production years.
assembly plant C is La Yaguara in Caracas, Venezuela lol :icon_lolsign: thanks for your help :icon_imnotworthy: Kris |
