And guess what I found!
Looks like a new floorpan is definitely in my future.

Yeah, it's pretty bad...
the passenger side isn't so bad, though...
Aside from that and surface rust on the roof, it needs paint, a carb rebuild, and new seats.
Oh yeah, and the garbage fuel in the tank needs to go.

Oh yeah, it's gonna be fun, though.
I had a blast pulling the interior out.

 

I did a complete tear out on my interior and replaced it with black I was a carmine red and it was ugly. I also stripped the body down and repainted it and but new decals on. New wheather stripping and a bunch of little ****.

 

Not too shabby...
I'm looking to do fourth-gen seats, so I still get the factory(ish) look, but I can get some side-bolster action.

sweet ride man i just picked up a 80 RS camaro and I havent taken out the interior yet =x but the door has rust so I am hoping there isnt like a hole hiding under the carpet...
