Default Shift Points??

What RPM does everyone shift at? I know, it all depends on your engine setup and other things but just for the sake of doing it where do you shift at?

I shift my 355 at 6500 rpm.

I have hear a few theories on this, but the one that made the most sense to me is to find out where your peak is on your powerband and shift slightly above there so when you are back in gear you are back near your peak. Of course there are a lot of factors to that, but I think yo already know that.

And obviously a dyno would help on this.
