You need to go buy a manual choke kit from any auto store out there. If you get it right I enjoy them a lot more than the electric choke. As for your running problems. It's always a good idea to run those high performance carberated engines for a good 5 minutes before you even begin to move them to get everything warmed up. That is in cold weather anyway. Once it gets to 65, 70 degrees, those babies should start right up and be ready to take off, though even then it's a good idea to give it a minute or so for everything to stabilize.

problem is solved. stole a fancy new 4 barrelholly off a gto. everything runs about a million times better and im actualy getting better gas milage now over the two barrel. who woulda thought. this one has a manual choke also
