Default reusing 305 parts on a crate 350 or 383

im thinking about getting a higher HP 350 or 383 and i was wondering if i can use the carb, headers, water pump, intake manifold, starter, distributer from a 305 and use them on a 350 or 383?

They should all bolt on,that said are we talking stock stuff or aftermarket performance parts?
A stock intake and carb will fall short of what a 350 needs let alone a 383 with few mods like a good performance cam.
On a 383 I'd want at least a 750cfm carb and a good highrise intake.
Stock exhaust will choke a good motor too so you need headers and a good free flow exhaust system.
A bigger motor needs to breath more than a smaller motor plain and simple.

well its an edelbrok carb and manifold and it has stock headers with flowmaster mufflers..the starter, alternator and water pump are stock though..well i cant use a high rise manifold because i wouldnt have enough room with my hood..so the intake manifold, carb, starter, alternator, water pump and distributer from a 305 will fit on a 350 or 383?

That should all work ok on a mild 350,a 383 depending on build may need a little more or a lot more but it would run.

wouldn't a 383 use the same ignition system, starter, water pump, fuel pump and alternator? what kind of different carb and intake manifold should i get for a 383 that would fit under my stock hood?

Yes it's all small block Chevy stuff, you didn't say what size Edelbrock carb you have but I'll assume the 625 or there abouts, pretty small for a 383" mill, barley adequate for a mild 350.
The Edelbrock intake should be fine but again you didn't post which model, will assume it's the most common, the dual plane even bore Performer.
A 383 will want at least 750cfm carb, there are a number of carbs that should fit the bill and bolt on your intake.

First off, why would you want to do that man? If its a new crate, start with new parts.

Secondly, a 383 does not need a 750, it seems everyone over carburates. Mine is 650 and is perfect, 750 was too hard to clean up everything in the middle. It was nice at idle and wide open, just no where else in between.

Good luck, I tried forever to find that combo and finally gave up. I just had my body guy bend in a 3" slow rise cowl. No other way will work without sacrificing somewhere else.

As far as everything else goes, yep all those parts will work jsut fine unless you go to a MSD distributor, then just junk the ignition

because it would be cheaper if i could just use some of the old parts on it at least for a little bit after i got it..
