Re-doing rims. N90's
So im re doing my rims because they are the originals and are getting kinda trashy. what im wondering is what i can do to get my rims to look like this?
I sanded the raised parts by hand with 400-800 grit sand paper but they dont have the shine that im looking for like these. any advice? and what paint/primer should i use for painting them?

You need to go beyond sanding. The 800 grit is great, but a buffer and polishing compound, or a lot of elbow grease with polishing compound is needed to take them to the next level. I use Mother's mag wheel polish and a buffing wheel to get my wheels to a higher shine.
As for paint; you need to mask them off and make sure they're really clean. Then you can spray them with wheel paint. I used Rustoleum Hi Performance graphite wheel paint on mine and it is about the same color/satin as the wheels pictured. Don't use anything that's not listed as mag wheel paint or it will eventually flake off.
The cool thing about Rustoleum wheel paint is the can works in ANY direction, so it allows you to get in every nook and the paint still comes out at all angles.
