Have you put a timing light on it yet? That's the first thing I'd do, unless you want to just keep tweaking it, and test driving. It could be timing, carb, worn timing set, valves, or even a bad vacuum advance.
When you get a light on it to check, also watch to see if it holds the mark steady. If it wanders around, the timing set or distributor is likely bad.

its been rebuilt at one time and had a new distributor put in. also new vacuum advance. forgot to disconnect it last time we did timing so we r gonna disconnect and do a lil more tweaking hoping that helps if not gonna have a professional engine builder take a look might change carb soon to it has a truck advenger on it instead of a street which i think would be a weird thing to do to a camaro

The truck Avenger shouldn't hurt if it is in good shape. It's just designed to increase low end response.
